NOYNOY AQUINO IS THE LEADING PHILIPPINE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE
If Philippine Elections is to be held today, NOYNOY AQUINO would be the next Malacanang occupant by JUne 30, 2010 according to latest SWS Survey conducted on Decemebr 27-28, 2009.
Noynoy Aquino garnered 44% of the 2,100 respondents in a field of 8 candidates leaving Manny Villar, his closest rival with only 33%. Former President Joseph Erap Estrada is a distant third with only 15%. Administration candidate Gilbert Gibo Teodoro got only 5%. Brother Eddie Villanueva has 1%, Richard Gordon has 0.5% while Jamby Madrigal and J.C. De Los Reyes got 0.4% each. The real battle is still four months away assuming there will be no failure of elections and hackers would not get in their way to vandalize the COMELEC website which recent attacks on various government-run websites have created fear to some sectors that this might be a prelude to sabotage the coming elections. Judging by the survey results, the battle royale in MAy 2010 would be obviuosly between the NACIONALISTAS of MANNY VILLAR and the LIBERALS kuno of NOYNOY AQUINO.Well, well, well, surveys are surveys but the problem of us Filipinos, napakahilig nating tumaya sa llamado.Sabi nga ni Sen. Richard Gordon, kung surveys lang ang susundin natin eh, huwag nalang tayong mag-election. Tama nga naman, but that’s the reality of Philippine politics. Performance and track record has to take the back-seat in the name of popularity and money. So abangan natin ang umaatikabong bakbakan nina NOYNOY AQUINO at MANNY VILLAR sa darating na Mayo. Ikaw? Sino iboboto mo? Secret…….

We can’t deny that more filipinos can still remember what happened in EDSA. That’s why more people loves Noynoy because of this.

That’s true, people will always remeber the spirit of EDSA and when we talk of EDSA in 1986, there’s no denying that the former president CORY AQUINO was an iconic figure of that blodless revolution. However, the analysis of one political analyst seemed to picture correctly the continuing decline of NOYNOY AQUINO’S lead over his closest rival MANNY VILLAR,that Filipinos are already fed up with the “if the parents are good – the son is good” politics. Noynoy must create his own image and not rely on the backdrop of his illustrious parents. People wanted to know what he can offer. What were his accomplishments as a public servant that would give the Filipino people an idea of the man that would lead us in the next six years of our lives.
survey must not be published so that every voters may know how to find a good leader not because of surveys.

@dominic, In hindsight, surveys is a good tool to educate voters on who among the pretenders is perceived by the electorate as the lesser evil
nothing is change..from edsa 1-3..filipino’s still laughing stock in the eyes of the world..leaders are corrupt and selfish..
